Friday Flavors Concert – Tyler Millard Band (Rock, Blues, Folk)

Friday Flavors Concert – Tyler Millard Band

Tyler Millard had been performing by himself for two years when he met Kyle Vessa and Carl Heck. Millard was heavily influenced by 9o’s alternative music and modern blues, while Vessa and Heck had played mostly southern rock. The result of these three coming together can best be described as a folk/blues mix.  If you missed this band at the winery from earlier this summer, now’s your chance to see them!

Note: Advanced ticket purchase is always recommended because: 1) It helps our food vendor anticipate food amounts and 2) If the concert is held indoors, seating is limited (we’d hate to turn you away at the door). All tickets purchased in advanced are held at Will Call under the name of the purchaser.   Online Ticket Purchase Available until Noon Day of Concert (after 12pm please call the winery for ticket availability) – See Below to Purchase Tickets!

Friday Flavors Concert – David Russell

*This concert will be held inside due to possible rain and high heat/humidity

“Singer, songwriter, award-winning master performer- David Russell has weathered the changing tides of acoustic string music with his distinctive originals and those of his songwriter friends. Born in a musical family, David began classical guitar at 6, branching out to country blues, mountain string music, folk, blues and jazz. David’s writing, playing, singing and musical compass have been influenced by and is shaping a new/old music sorely needed in an increasingly rootless world. He has appeared or toured with: Doc & Merle Watson, Norman & Nancy Blake, Lester Flatt & the Nashville Grass (w/ Marty Stuart), Earl Scruggs, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John McEuen, John Hartford , Vassar Clements, Tut Taylor, Steve Martin, John Hammond, Gamble Rogers, Jimmy Buffett, Steve Goodman, Stephen Wade, Mickey Clark, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Jack Williams and a host of other fine musicians. Timeless traditionals, and classics mixed with contemporary writing take an audience on a musical tour with an energy and sensitivity that captivates. By connecting his playing and singing with live audiences, he says: “ I want to leave people entertained, inspired and uplifted, with memories that stay in daily life– for me, it’s a matter of deep belief in and dedication to the workmanship of my craft”.
