It is an interactive event and audience participation is encouraged (but please be respectful and don’t converse with your neighbor while the artists are speaking or singing).

Dean Driver –
Dean Driver started playing guitar in his teens, but pretty much set music aside for a couple of decades while he focused on raising a family. As his kids started leaving the nest, he started hearing songs in his head, calling him to pick up his old guitar and learn to play it in completely new ways. Each song, he says, presented itself to him and challenged him to turn it into reality. The inspirations continued until he felt the need to produce an all-original album at age 50, which he aptly called Late Bloomer. The all-acoustic songs on the this album don’t fall into any particular genre – this music in many ways appears to emerge from nowhere, though his influences (Beatles, John Prine, Paul Simon, and maybe a little Mozart) can be heard lurking between the lines. Since first performing before an audience in 2010, Dean has performed hundreds of shows up and down the East Coast, often appearing with his daughter Riley on accordion and vocals. His consistent mission is to encourage others to step outside of their comfort zones and act on their artistic impulses.
Vaughan Penn –
A North Carolina singer-songwriter/recording artist, Vaughan’s original music has been featured over 150 times in film and television, including: Grey’s Anatomy, Bones, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer, NCIS LA, The Hills, Laguna Beach, Showtime’s L-Word, Californication, Nurse Jackie, Weeds and many more…
Vaughan’s music has been described as being her own unique sound of eathy-pop-rock music that combines meaningful songwriting with a powerfully melodic sound. With strong rhythmic textures and hints of Americana roots in the production, her songs have pure emotional honesty; both musically and lyrically.
Vaughan has headlined and opened for many national acts, including: Emy Lou Harris, Darius Rucker, Huey Lewis, Indigo Girls, Newsong, Amy Mann, Shawn Mullins, Melissa Etheridge just to name a few.
