Bright performed with the North Carolina Symphony in 2011 on an arrangement of her song “Toy Hammer\,” and has performed at various festivals around the country (SXSW\, Savannah Stopover\, FloydFest\, DragonCon\, Midpoint Music Fest\, The Steampunk World’s Fair\, Shakori Hills\, and many others.) She took Runner Up for On the Rise at Floydfest 2013 for a return set in 2014\, and was named Best Singer in 2012\, Best Songwriter in 2014\, and Best Musician in the Triad in 2015 by Greensboro’s Yes Weekly. \n  \nBright has an eclectic\, haunting but yet whimsical\, carnivalesque world folk sound\, dubbed “kaleidophrenic cabaret.” She plays accordion\, musical saw\, concertina\, piano\, Taiko drum\, adungu (Ugandan harp)\, and various others\, leaving people captivated with her operatic & soulful vocals and virtuoso command of her exotic instruments.
Her most recent album was recorded with Mitch Easter at the Fidelitorium. It was released in November\, 2017. The previous albums (a visual collaboration with DividingMe Photography\, “The Absolute Elsewhere” (Jan. 2015) as well as “Muses and Bones” (2012)) received press and glowing reviews in the US & Europe\, as well as radio airplay in the US\, UK\, & Canada\, including NPR and BBC appearances. \n  \nGlenn Jones \n \nSongs from the heart\, delivered with passion.  Glenn is a Chapel Hill\, NC-based singer\, songwriter\, electric bassist\, and guitarist.  His distinctive belting\, soulful voice is his trademark\, but his songcraft\, with hook-laden choruses and out-of-the box subject matter\, along with great storytelling\, is what is building his following.  Two US tours in the last three years have whetted Glenn’s appetite for touring. \nCurrently working on CD three with acclaimed producer/engineer Jerry Brown (working title “Ready for the Good Times”)\, the new material promises to have a more stripped-down\, back-to-the-basics\, true-to-live sound than prior offerings. A September 2019 release is planned. \nGlenn’s motto –  “Music is life”\, and he’s playing every note to the fullest. \n  \nKristy Jackson \n \nBMI award winning singer/songwriter\, Kristy Jackson\, has had singles with artists on Giant\, MCA\, Curb and Universal Records.  As an artist herself\, she had the #1 most requested song on the largest radio stations in New York and other major markets after 9/11\, “Little Did She Know (She’d Kissed A Hero)” and raised over $30\,000 for 9/11 charities. Her songs have also been featured in films by Disney\, Universal and Endemol Productions. Her song\, “Take It Back” originally recorded by Reba McEntire was recently performed by contest Aliyah Moulden in the 2017 Season 12 of NBC’s The Voice. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nRanford Almond \n \nRanford Almond is a Greensboro singer/songwriter who combines his introspective lyrics with acoustic blues and cross-picking to create a unique\, soulful sound. Ranford is known as an old-soul whose solo performance is a truly intimate experience

SUMMARY:Friday Flavors Concert - Tyler Millard Band (Rock & More)
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nFriday Flavors Concert – Tyler Millard Band (Rock & More) \nTyler Millard had been performing by himself for two years when he met Kyle Vessa and Carl Heck. Millard was heavily influenced by 9o’s alternative music and modern blues\, while Vessa and Heck had played mostly southern rock. SUMMARY:Barrel Room Concert - Sam Pacetti - Guitarist\, Singer-Songwriter
DESCRIPTION:  \nStonefield Cellars Barrel Room Concert 6/1/19 – Sam Pacetti – Guitarist/Singer-Songwriter \n \n  \nWe are pleased to bring back one of our favorite guitar masters and singer-songwriters – Sam Pacetti.  It has been too long since he has graced our barrel room stage! \n\nSam Pacetti is one who brings it all together. A fingerstyle guitar wizard. A deft songwriter\, capable of haunting depth and wry humor in the space of one song. A impassioned and ecstatic vocalist\, as well as a mesmerizing live performer\, seamlessly melding head-spinning guitar pyrotechnics and raw emotion into one breathtaking package. \nPacetti represents a culmination of the best of the American and British traditions. His 1997 Waterbug debut\, Solitary Travel\, garnered critical raves. “This guy is very good\, indeed\,” deadpanned the highly respected (and highly critical) UK magazine Folk Roots. And Dirty Linen\, the influential US roots publication\, opined\, “Although the woods are full of young guitar virtuosos\, few have developed the style\, technique and artistic wisdom of Sam Pacetti. Solitary travel heralds the arrival of one of the most talented instrumentalists and composers to appear in acoustic music in a month of Sunday’s.” \nSam Pacetti grew up in North Florida\, hardly known as a hotbed of either the folk tradition or musical innovation. Influenced by Chet Atkins\, Merle Travis\, and most profoundly by Gamble Rogers\,  Sam carries on the important element of the folk process\, the passing of music and oral tradition from teacher to student. \nTradition and innovation neatly balance in Sam Pacetti’s music\, the whole infused by a relentless intelligence intent on musical and philosophical synthesis. Martin Simpson\, Richard Thompson\, Joni Mitchell and Merle Travis are touchstones to Pacetti\, and while there are strong elements of the American primitive school of guitar wizardry throughout his work\, there is a powerful raw emotionality evident as well – an earthy sensuality more reminiscent of a Greg Brown or a red-dirt blues master than of a musical academian. \nWord has started to spread about Sam Pacetti. And as with anything truly innovative\, it starts at the grassroots. You won’t see Pacetti written up in People or Us. You won’t hear his music on Top-40 radio. No\, word is spreading about Sam Pacetti the way true innovation always does – through the grassroots. Through non-commercial radio and “specialty show” play. From tapes and CDs passed from friend to friend. At folk festivals and listening rooms. And\, in the tradition stemming from the days of rent-raising parties in the Mississippi delta – and now carried on by music aficionados unable to find music that interest them within the mainstream. \n\nOne of the great things about the Stonefield Cellars Barrel Room is the intimate setting it provides so that you can hear Sam’s guitar mastery and storytelling lyrics upfront and personal!!!! \nDoor opens at 7:00 pm\, concert starts at 7:30 pm. \nCOST: Advance tickets are $16\, $14 for Wine Club Members\, $18 at door. See below for advance ticket option! (Wine Club Member discount limited to 4 per household.) \nDRINKS: Wine\, Beer\, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. \nFOOD: As there is no food vendor for this concert we recommend eating beforehand. Outside food is allowed in small quantities (think snacks\, small plates\, or tapas)\, but please be considerate of other guests- don’t bring smelly or pungent food items. We will also be selling snacks such as cheese\, crackers\, peanuts\, and a wide assortment of locally-made chocolate for dessert during the evening! \nEVENT POLICIES: No Pets\, No Outside Alcohol\, No Smoking (anywhere on our property\, including our parking lot!). \n*Barrel Room Concert Etiquette Reminder: This concert will be held in our intimate barrel room and is intended to be a listening experience. The audience is expected to be respectful of the artist’s performance and their listening neighbors\, so loud talking and cell phone use is discouraged. \nConcert tickets are non-refundable.

SUMMARY:Barrel Room Concert - Robin Bullock
DESCRIPTION:Stonefield Cellars Barrel Room Concert 5/4/19 – Robin Bullock \nWe are pleased to bring back one of our favorite internationally acclaimed artists\, Robin Bullock! \nHailed as a “Celtic guitar god” by Baltimore City Paper and “one of the best folk instrumentalists in the business” by Sing Out! Magazine\, Robin Bullock is one of the preeminent acoustic music masters of our time. \nHis virtuosity on guitar\, cittern and mandolin blends the ancient melodies of the Celtic lands\, their vigorous American descendants\, and the masterworks of the Baroque and Renaissance eras into one powerful musical vision. The 17th-century harp tunes of legendary Irish bard Turlough O’Carolan\, the spirited jigs and reels of rural Ireland\, the haunting ballads of the southern Appalachians and the timeless compositions of Bach\, Dowland and Francesco da Milano all find a musical common ground in Robin’s music\, where lightning-fast fingerwork one moment is perfectly balanced with tender\, quiet intimacy the next. A warm\, friendly presence onstage\, Robin effortlessly creates a magical world for the audience with his multi-instrumental wizardry\, taking them on an unforgettable journey into the deep heart’s core and through the music of the spheres.   One of the great things about our Barrel Room is the intimate setting it provides so that you can hear Robin’s mastery down to the most precious singular note!!!! \nDoor opens at 7:00 pm\, concert starts at 7:30 pm. \nCOST: Advance tickets are $16\, $14 for Wine Club Members\, $18 at door. SUMMARY:Friday Flavors Concert - Tyler Millard Band (Rock & More)
DESCRIPTION:  \nFriday Flavors Concert – Tyler Millard Band \nTyler Millard had been performing by himself for two years when he met Kyle Vessa and Carl Heck. Millard was heavily influenced by 9o’s alternative music and modern blues\, while Vessa and Heck had played mostly southern rock. The result of these three coming together can best be described as a folk/blues mix\, so when you add in a keyboardist and a drummer they combine to create a tight sound that will rock the house! \nNote: Advanced ticket purchase is always recommended because: 1) It helps our food vendor anticipate food amounts and 2) If the concert is held indoors\, seating is limited (we’d hate to turn you away at the door). All tickets purchased in advanced are held at Will Call under the name of the purchaser.  Online Ticket Purchase is Available until Noon Day of Concert – See Below to Purchase Tickets! If you have any additional questions regarding ticket sales please call 336-644-9908. \nCOST: $10 per person. \nEVENT TIMELINE:   Concert is from 7-9 pm. Gate/Door opens at 6:30 p.m. (advised for food and beverage purchase). \nINSIDE OR OUT?: This concert will be held OUTSIDE in fair weather in our lovely garden. If there is chance of rain or extreme heat\, the concert will be held INSIDE\, in our air-conditioned Barrel Room. We make the call early afternoon the day of the concert and will likely update the website to reflect our decision. \nSEATING: If the concert is OUTSIDE\, we offer 4-person VIP Bistro Seating on the Front Row or Upper Patio for $45 (includes admission for four); and a glass top 6-person VIP party table to the side of the band for $65 (includes admission for six). For General Admission ($10/person) you should bring a lawn chair for our terraced lawn area\, or we have first-come-first-seat picnic tables in the upper garden. If the concert is INSIDE\, family style table seating will be provided in our barrel room with our VIP and advanced ticket purchasers seated first.  \n \nDRINKS:   Wine\, Fresh Sangria\, Beer\, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. \nFOOD: Hickory Tree BBQ will be our food truck for the evening. \nEVENT POLICIES: No Pets\, No Outside Alcohol or Food\, Smoking Restricted (smoking in non-designated areas is strictly prohibited) and please\, please\, please do not litter our property with cigarette butts or other trash. \nConcert tickets are non-refundable but are transferrable.
