SUMMARY:Labor Day Weekend Tours & Pick-Your-Own-Grapes
DESCRIPTION:Saturday Sept. 3rd & Sunday Sept. 4th\nWe are a family-friendly winery\, but please make sure children are supervised at all times! Just like a farm\, we have gardening and production equipment out in the open. \nBearded BBQ Food Truck will be on-site Saturday from 12-3pm! Outside of food truck hours we do allow picnics\, but please No Pets\, No Smoking (includes vaping)\, and No Outside Alcohol! \nWine Tastings\nWine Tasting Flights will be available Saturday (12-5pm) and (Sunday 1-5pm). Our last wine tastings start at 5pm and the winery closes at 6pm. \nWe can only pour wine flights for groups of 4 or less. As we cannot host tastings for large groups at this time\, groups of 5-6 guests may purchase bottles or glasses of wine to enjoy on our outdoor patio and garden. Guests may try a complimentary taste of their chosen wine before purchasing. If you are coming with a group of 6+ people\, please call ahead so that we can accommodate you (336-644-9908)!  \n  \nFood\nBearded BBQ Food Truck will be on-site Saturday from 12-3pm! Outside of food truck hours we do allow picnics\, and our tasting room sells assorted cheese and snacks. \n  \nLabor Day Weekend Tours\nFrom grapes to bottling\, we produce all of our wine on site! Our winemaker will be giving tours of our Barrel Room & Crush Pad this Labor Day weekend. Reservations are recommended to secure your spot (scroll down to RSVP)\, but walk-ins are welcome if there is availability. \nSaturday Sept. 3rd: 1pm\, 3pm\, 5pm* \nSunday Sept. 4th: 1pm\, 3pm\, 5pm* \n*Please arrive at 4pm if you would like to do a wine tasting before the 5pm tour slot. The winery closes at 6pm. \n  \n \nPick-Your-Own-Grapes*\nOur Niagara grapes are ripe and ready to pick! \nNiagara grapes are well known as the source of most white grape juice and are also used for making wine & jams! The Niagara grape was created in Niagara County\, New York\, in 1868 when Claudius L. Hoag and Benjamin W. Clark cross-bred Concord grapes with white Cassady grapes. The fresh grape is large and juicy\, round to oval-shaped\, pale greenish-white in color and has a sweet\, very pleasant aroma. \nBring your own snips and a bucket (bucket size limited to 2 gallons or less) and gather some to enjoy. If you’ve never had Niagara grapes before they are similar to muscadines! Although the skin is edible\, some people prefer to squeeze each grape so the pulp goes in their mouth and they can discard the skin (and spit out the seeds). \n*This is an at-your-own-risk agritourism activity in our vineyard. Please use your best judgement and supervise minors at all times. \n  \nPatio\, Gardens\, and Lawn Open to the Public\nCome out and enjoy a glass or bottle of wine! Bring a picnic or our tasting room offers a selection of pre-packaged cheese plates and charcuterie. \nSaturday Sept. 3rd: Open 12-6pm. Patio\, covered pavilion\, and party lawn open to public. Gardens reserved for private party. \nSunday Sept. 4th: Open 1-6pm. Patio\, covered pavilion\, gardens and party lawn open to public. \n  \nPatio and Pavilion\nGarden Tables\nEnjoying a wine tasting!\nBring your own picnic (yum)!\nOur Lawn! Bring a chair or picnic blanket\, low pallet tables are available on a first-come basis.\nRelax with friends and family!
