SUMMARY:Soup and Sing - Potluck Dinner and Jam Session
DESCRIPTION:Reservations are Required for this Event   \nSoup & Sing is a combination pot-luck dinner\, jam session\, and folk gathering for local musicians/singers and music lovers that harkens back to a time when there were no radios or TVs and music was what we made together\, face to face\, an essential part of our soul as necessary as the food that nourished our bodies.   Many different genres of music may be represented during the evening (bluegrass\, celtic\, blues\, folk\, rock\, gospel\, etc.)\, but usually it is acoustic (we do mike vocals though\, so singers can be heard).  Even if you are not a musician as long as you’re a fan of Stonefield Cellars that loves wine and music\, you are welcome to come.   We appreciate your support of local music and local wine!  (Wine sales provide the financial support to make this event possible. \nIf you have questions about this event\, please contact Natalie at nwurz@stonefieldcellars.com \nPlease RSVP below with information about you and what food item you plan to bring\, etc. (it helps us prepare for the event).

For more information about the day-time workshop\, visit Healing Through Music and Movement \nTo those NOT attending the workshop but coming to SOUP & SING\, PLEASE bring a dish to share (i.e.\, potluck dinner item).  It can be a meat or vegetable dish or a dessert.  Golden Corral is sponsoring some food to cover those attending the workshop\, but additional food is always appreciated from those not attending the workshop.  And remember\, we are starting EARLIER than usual and we want you to participate in the Wine Reception (please arrive between 5:30 and 6:30 if you want to participate in the Wine Reception)….. \n>>WINE AND TEA RECEPTION –  For both Workshop Participants and Soup & Sing Participants!   From 5:30 – 6:30 we will hold a Reception to give workshop participants/workshop leaders an opportunity to meet and mingle with our local music community.  FREE samples of pre-selected Stonefield Cellars wines will be offered to help you choose what you might want to buy for enjoying with dinner or for taking home!!!   A percentage of all WINE SALES between 5:30 and 10:00 PM will be donated to MARATHON JAM!  TEAS provided by Cape Breton Tea Company and presented by Dr. Michelle Greenwell. \n  \nPLEASE RSVP to the RECEPTION and/or SOUP & SING  below….. \n  \nIf you need more info  about this event\, please contact Natalie at 336-689-4071 or email nwurz@stonefieldcellars.com  \n
