We will be open for wine sales by the bottle/glass until 6pm (last wine tasting flights start at 5pm to give you enough time to enjoy before we close at 6pm). \nFOOD TRUCK!!   West Coast Wanderer Food Truck will be on site with their delicious hot food from Noon-4pm! \nLIVE MUSIC! \nOur Barrel Room will welcome you to enjoy LIVE Music by Candelfirth (harp\, guitar\, violin\, tin whistle\, etc. – see full bio below) \n     \n\nAll bottles of wine will be 5% OFF with additional case discounts (the more you buy\, the more you save!)\n$5 Hot Spiced Wine by the glass\nComplimentary Holiday Photos by the Christmas Tree in our Tasting Room\nLocally made wine gifts!\nHot spiced wine recipe packs\nGift baskets and Gift certificates available\n\nWalk-ins are welcome\, but since seating in our Barrel Room is limited we recommend you reserve a table!  Call us at 336-644-9908 \nWest Coast Wanderer (Food Truck) – Featuring delicious freshly made hot food will be on site from Noon-4pm. \n \nIn addition\, artisanal snacks\, cheese plates\, crackers\, sweets\, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available in our Tasting Room\, (we will have heated tables outside)! \nIMPORTANT NOTE:  If you are coming to the  Stokesdale Christmas Parade (which is the same afternoon)\, plan on visiting us before or afterwards for food and wine!  Whether you are coming to the parade or not\, if you are coming from Winston-Salem\, please take I-40 to NC Hwy 68 N to get to the winery\, because NC Hwy 158 between NC 65 and NC 68 will be blocked during the Parade (which starts at 2pm). \nCandelFirth is a musical duo that explores traditional Celtic and Native American music through unique rhythms\, arrangements and expressions. \nRandy Candelaria (fiddle\, guitar\, recorder\, Irish bouzouki\, hurdy gurdy – and others) has been playing Celtic music for over 30 years with a number of bands including Naomi’s Fancy (having performed during a US presidential visit) and the Celthix (opening up for Scotland’s premiere band\, The Tannahill Weavers\, on two evenings).  He has recently played in pubs across Ireland in Dublin\, Galway and Doolin\, including sessions with Friar’s Green and the legendary Irish group De Danann.  Randy also has been involved in recording sessions for various artists and has film credits for his contributions\, along with radio and TV appearances (see his Facebook page for specifics!). \nSusie Firth Candelaria has enjoyed exploring music since childhood and has played a variety of Celtic harps for over 25 years.  A lover of music of all kinds\, including Classical and the music of ancient cultures\, her true love is for the music of Ireland and Scotland.  Susie also performs on a variety of flutes\, penny whistles\, baroque recorders\, Native American flutes\, djembe and bodhran.  She has been a solo artist for years\, a session musician and a guest musician on several recording projects. DESCRIPTION:  \nStonefield Cellars hosts another High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association Monthly Meeting\, featuring member band The Southern Gentlemen (see details below). \nNote:  A brief annual board/officers election will be held prior to the concert\, followed by a jam session with band members and other local bluegrass musicians.   This is event is FREE to the public! \nEvent will be held INSIDE our air-conditioned Barrel Room.   \n \n  \n \nThe Southern Gentlemen\nJOHNNY JOHNSON – FOUNDER \, GUITAR \, LEAD VOCALIST – COLLINSVILLE \, VIRGINIA \nStarted playing Mandolin professional as a youth with several groups before founding The Southern Gentlemen in May of 1999 Switching to Guitar\, Lead Vocalist and Manager\, M.C. for the Group. Songwriter and President of Woodchopper Music Publishing BMI . He has Written Over 600 Songs\, many of which are featured on The Southern Gentlemen Show.  Johnny’s distinctive vocal and guitar style are the core behind The Southern Gentlemen Sound.   \nBOBBY WHITLOCK – BANJO \, FINGER PICKED GUITAR \, LEAD AND HARMONY VOCALIST – FIELDALE \,VIRGINIA \nStarted Playing Banjo as an Early Youth in many regional bands throughout the Virginia Area later joining as a founding member of The Fork Mountain Grass in the 1970’s playing the festival circuit through the 1980’s.  Bobby also performed with The Churchmen Gospel group. Bobby joined The Southern Gentlemen in 2007 and continues to contribute his songwriting talent to the band’s repertoire.   \nBURGESS HURD – MANDOLIN – LEAD AND HARMONY VOCALIST\, MARTINSVILLE \, VIRGINIA \nJoining the band in 2014\, Burgess is a fine Mandolinist and Tenor singer-songwriter with over fifty years of performing experience in the fields of Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel.
