DESCRIPTION:This year the Pirates of Port Royale will be taking over Stonefield Cellars Winery to host a gallery of fantastical artisans and craftspeople!\nRain or Shine. Open Saturday & Sunday\, Oct. 24-Oct.25th\, from 12-6pm.\n  \nWith the closing of many larger renaissance festivals and magical gatherings\, the Stonefield Cellar’s crew has banded together this fall to open up our winery to many of the wondrous vendors you may have missed this year. Our winery will be decked out in full pirate regalia\, and we encourage guests to dress for the occasion in their best renaissance/fantasy/pirate costumes! Please read all of our COVID-19 rules to insure we can maintain a safe environment for all! \n  \nCOVID Safety Rules: \n\nWear: Face Coverings are required! \n\n-While inside the winery building (shopping or using the restrooms) \n-Outside while walking around and while visiting vendor tents.   Note:  If you are safely distanced (6ft) from others (people you did not come with) while seated in a chair or on a blanket on our patio\, garden\, or lawn area AND you are actively eating and drinking\, you are not required to wear a face covering. \n-Our security staff will be enforcing these safety rules as we can only host this event if everyone is in compliance. You must be wearing a mask to be permitted into this event. \n\nWait: Please make note of our 6 ft floor markings for the wait line inside the winery building; these spots are your place marker to wait your turn to approach the bar for placing orders/paying for items. Please also wait your turn when shopping at our vendor’s stations\, allow ample (6ft) space between you and another shopper.  Make sure you stay 6ft away from others not in your ‘safe bubble’ while seated on our terraced lawn.\nWash: Even though we sanitize commonly touched items often (e.g.\, our email sign up pen\, cash register pad)\, hand sanitizer will be provided at these areas for your use. (Saturday/Sunday) \nMusic Schedule:  (These folks are playing for tips – please reward their talent generously!) \nNoon-2 pm – \n \nJulien McCarthy (folk/guitar) \nJulien McCarthy is known in the Triad as a musician\, fine craftsman\, naturalist\, and promoter of the arts.  His talents are only outshone by his kindness and humility.  A local treasure we are happy to share with you. \n  \n  \n2-4 pm –  \n \nLarry Kirwan (Hammer Dulcimer) L.M. Kirwan has been playing hammered dulcimer in the Piedmont for decades. He entertains his audiences with a variety of American and Celtic tunes\, Baroque and Renaissance pieces\, and the occasional original fantasy piece. Don’t be surprised if he belts out in song occasionally\, and accompanies himself on the drum or tambourine. Larry also performs professionally as an actor in the Triad area\, and has a flair for the dramatic. \n  \n  \n4-6 pm –  \nCandelFirth (Celtic duo featuring Celtic Harp\, fiddle\, Irish bouzouki\, whistle\, guitar\, and more) \n  \n  \n  \n  \nVenue: Stonefield Cellars Winery is located at 8220 HWY 68 N\, Stokesdale\, NC. Check out our Location Page for more details. We will be limiting our outdoor capacity for this event. \n-Winery Tasting Room: You can order beverages at the bar (see drinks below) as well as purchase our locally-made wine by the bottle to take home. Bathrooms are located inside the tasting room. \n-Patio and Garden: Our patio and garden area has bistro and picnic tables for guests enjoying wine & food. Musicians will be set up underneath our main gazebo. \n-Front Lawn: Vendor booths will be located on the front lawn! Additional space is available for guests to set up lawn chairs and blankets. \nDrinks: Wine\, Beer\, and Non-Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the Tasting Room bar. Self-guided Wine Flights (wine tastings) are by appointment only; please reserve a time slot at the bottom of this page. Our current tasting price is $12.50/person. As we cannot conduct tastings at the tasting bar\, we offer self-guided wine flights for consumption at our outdoor tables that comply with the 6 ft safe distancing requirements. A ‘wine tasting’ will consist of your choice of 7 wines poured by our staff into disposable cups presented on a tray along with your souvenir wine glass; a detailed description of each wine will be provided on a disposable tasting sheet. We recommend you arrive at the winery at least 10 minutes before your tasting to give you time to park and arrive at the tasting room. Reservations will only be held for 15 minutes past the reservation time.  \nFood: Only food purchased on the property is allowed at this event!  \n-Marty’s BBQ Food Truck: Pork Chops\, BBQ\, Sandwiches\, Burgers\, and Sides. (Saturday) \n-Mama Laura’s Chocolates: Local hand-made chocolates. (Saturday-Sunday) \n-Izzy’s Eats: Wine pairing cheese plates. (Saturday-Sunday) \nDress Code: Costumes are encouraged! This event is held outdoors\, rain or shine\, on our front lawn so dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. In case of rain\, some tents will be available but we recommend you bring a poncho or umbrella. No clothing with written obscenities\, violent or sexual images\, excessively revealing or transparent fabrics\, or offensive symbols. Shirts\, shoes and masks are required. \nProp Weapons: Costume blades of any type (swords\, daggers\, axes\, spear heads and arrow heads) must be blunted\, properly sheathed\, and peace tied with red twine or ribbon at all times. Arrows are to remain tied together and tied inside the quiver. Prop and/or replica firearms having any capability of launching projectiles and/or making sounds of gunfire are not permitted.  Prop crossbows having any capability of launching projectiles are not permitted. All prop weapons must be presented at the main entrance gate for inspection. \nSeating: We will have bistro tables and chairs as well as picnic tables available on our patio and garden for guest seating. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to space out and sit on the front lawn. No inside seating is available for this event. \nPayment Options: Cash and Credit Cards are accepted in the Tasting Room\, but individual vendors may accept only cash or only credit (due to COVID). There is no ATM on site\, but the is a CashPoints ATM located 3 minutes away at 8302 Belews Creek Rd Suite D\, Stokesdale\, NC 27357. \nAge Restrictions: Although Stonefield Cellars Winery is normally a family friendly venue\, due to the limited space available for this event we ask that all attendees be 16 years of age or older. \nProperty Policies: No outside food or drinks. DESCRIPTION:We will be open extended hours from 6pm-8:30pm on Friday August 7th and are now able to resume offering wine tastings and consumption of beverages and food on site! We’ll have wine\, beer\, and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. As we do not host a restaurant on site\, we carry assorted cheeses\, crackers\, peanuts\, and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. Outside food is allowed in small quantities (such as lunchboxes\, a picnic lunch\, or dinner). \n \n  \nSPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING SAFETY during the age of COVID19:  While Stonefield Cellars Staff is taking a multitude of measures to keep the winery environment clean during your visit\, we have also modified our wine tasting experience in order to enhance staff and guest safety. \n\nWe will not be conducting tastings at the tasting bar\, but instead will offer self-guided wine flights for consumption at indoor or outdoor tables that comply with the 6 ft safe distancing requirements. A ‘wine tasting’ will consist of your choice of 7 wines poured by our staff into disposable cups presented on a tray along with your souvenir wine glass; a detailed description of each wine will be provided on a disposable tasting sheet.   You can order your wine selection at the bar and then take it to your table (or if we are busy\, we will bring it to you once we fill your order).\nPlease note that we start our last tasting at 7:30 pm.We conduct tasting and tours as folks arrive\, so no appointment is necessary unless you have a group of 6 or more  or would like to visit outside regular hours for an event rental consultation*    Also\, with COVID19 restrictions\, indoor seating is very limited.  During inclement weather it is advised to reserve your table in advance to assure we can accommodate you. Inside table seating is restricted to 1 hour occupancy.\n\n \nIn addition to this new wine tasting procedure\, we ask that you take personal responsibility for following these recommended Safe Practices against exposure to or inadvertently spreading of COVID19 during your visit: \n\nWear a face covering while inside the winery building while you are shopping or ordering your tasting choices. DESCRIPTION:We will be open extended hours from 12pm-8pm on Friday June 12th and are now able to resume offering wine tastings and consumption of beverages and food on site! We’ll have wine\, beer\, and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. As we do not host a restaurant on site\, we carry assorted cheeses\, crackers\, peanuts\, and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. Outside food is allowed in small quantities (such as lunchboxes\, a picnic lunch\, or dinner). \n \n  \nSPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING SAFETY during the age of COVID19:  While Stonefield Cellars Staff is taking a multitude of measures to keep the winery environment clean during your visit\, we have also modified our wine tasting experience in order to enhance staff and guest safety. \n\nWe will not be conducting tastings at the tasting bar\, but instead will offer self-guided wine flights for consumption at indoor or outdoor tables that comply with the 6 ft safe distancing requirements. A ‘wine tasting’ will consist of your choice of 7 wines poured by our staff into disposable cups presented on a tray along with your souvenir wine glass; a detailed description of each wine will be provided on a disposable tasting sheet.   You can order your wine selection at the bar and then take it to your table.\nPlease note that we start our last tasting at 7:30 pm.We conduct tasting and tours as folks arrive\, so no appointment is necessary unless you have a group of 6 or more  or would like to visit outside regular hours for an event rental consultation*    Also\, with COVID19 restrictions\, indoor seating is very limited.  During inclement weather it is advised to reserve your table in advance to assure we can accommodate you. Inside table seating is restricted to 1 hour occupancy.\n\n \nIn addition to this new wine tasting procedure\, we ask that you take personal responsibility for following these recommended Safe Practices against exposure to or inadvertently spreading of COVID19 during your visit: \n\nWear a face covering while inside the winery building while you are shopping or ordering your tasting choices. You do not have to wear your mask while seated at a table and drinking.   Whether inside or out\, please wear your face covering during interactions with others that are not in your safe bubble (family/friends you came with).\nWait –\n\nPlease make note of our 6 ft floor markings for the wait line inside the winery building; these spots are your place marker to wait your turn to approach the bar for placing orders/paying for items.\nDue to our restricted indoor space we can only accommodate two tables in our tasting room and will be putting a one hour time limit on indoor seating. If you would like to reserve an indoor table for up to 6 guests please call the winery at 336-644-9908.\nIf you do not plan to do a tasting but would like to purchase wine to enjoy on our patio or for taking home\, just come to the tasting room to place your order\, or you have the option to preorder/prepay using our  “shop for pickup” feature on our website prior to arriving at the winery – www.stonefieldcellars.com/shop.   We will have your beverages ready for an expedient pickup at the bar when you arrive.  If you need some guidance on your purchase before you buy – no problem!  We can help you over the phone or can still help you in person at the winery – our staff will be wearing masks and we have safety shields in place for assistance interactions.\nPlease also respect a 6ft distance even outdoors between you and others not in your safe bubble (family/friends you came with). Tables and chairs have been spaced 6ft or more apart – please do not alter this spacing.  If you need additional chairs or tables for your group (no more than 10 allowed per group)\, ask a staff member for assistance.\n\n\nWash – Even though we sanitize commonly touched items often (e.g.\, our email sign up pen\, cash register pad)\, hand sanitizer will be provided at these areas for your use.  And of course\, please wash your hands immediately after using our restroom.

DESCRIPTION:DUE TO COVID19 RESTRICTIONS THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED \n  \nTaking our Soup & Sing to the next level\, Stonefield Cellars is hosting the High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association’s Spring Camp & Pick Event.  This event will be held rain or shine (we won’t have a fire going if it is raining though).  Here’s all the details… \nSaturday & Sunday\, April 18-19\, 2020 \nLet’s JAM\, JAM\, JAM!!!! \nSaturday: Pot Luck Dinner at 6:30 pm  \nPlates and utensils will be provided; you provide a main dish\, side dish or dessert and your drink. \nBeverages will be available for purchase. \nNote:  There will not be a band performance Saturday night.  This is a JAM focused event! \nJams will be held inside and outside (until 10pm\, must move inside after that). \n  \nWeather permitting\, fire pit seating on the patio will accommodate s’mores. \n  \n  \nCamping Option:  Limited RV camping available (2 spots w/ power\, water\, a few more spaces with no power/water\, no dumping on property)\, but plenty of room for tent camping!  All overnight guests must preregister (call Natalie @ 336-689-4071). \nCampers are encouraged to join in a potluck breakfast and Gospel Jam Sunday morning. \nEven if you don’t plan to stay overnight\, please RSVP if you plan to attend Saturday night – 336-644-9908 or nwurz@stonefieldcellars.com (if overnighting\, please call /email Natalie directly to register – 336- 689-4071) \n  \nNO outside alcohol permitted\, smoking restricted to designated area\, please leave dogs at home (or in your camper).
