DESCRIPTION:The Ghosts of Liberty (Tyler and Emma Millard) – \nAmericana folk-rock act based in the foothills of North Carolina- The Ghosts of Liberty comprises husband & wife duo Emma Millard (Lead Vocals\, Keyboard) and Tyler Millard (Vocals\, Guitar). They bring together their combined influences of roots\, blues\, rock and soul\, delivering a truly original package that could only be born of two people living and working under the same roof. Tyler discovered his passion for music while losing his vision to RP\, a degenerative retinal disease- and Emma comes from a background in multi-genre vocal performance\, beginning with classical training at an early age. Ty’s steady and cool nature balance Em’s gutsy emotionality\, and together they are a musical force. They have been playing and writing together for the better part of a decade\, and through many of life’s challenges have maintained a deep and abiding appreciation for how music and love can truly overcome any obstacle. \nAdvance Ticket Purchase is always recommended: Tickets Available July 1st! This class covers all skill levels- from beginning wine enthusiasts to seasoned veterans. \nSaturday\, 8/27/22\, 3:00-5:00 pm in the Stonefield Cellars Production Room. \nCost: $45/general public\, $40/wine club members\nProvided: A wide selection of wines to taste in class\, a selection of charcuterie to evaluate pairings\, water and crackers for cleansing the palate. \nMust be at least 21 years old to participate.\nClass size limited to 16 people. \nRegistration: Register Online Below or Over the Phone by calling Kelley at 336-644-9908 during regular business hours. Wurz\, Ph.D. – Robert is a native of Napa Valley\, CA. He received his doctorate in wine chemistry from the University of California\, Davis. He has taught wine making classes at Patrick Henry Community College in Virginia and is the current winemaker at Stonefield Cellars Winery in Stokesdale.
