SUMMARY:"Eight Track" - A Songwriter Showcase Concert w/ Food Truck
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE AT THE GATE ONLY (No longer available online)!!!!  Cash and Credits Cards accepted. \n  \nStonefield Cellars will be hosting a special Songwriter Showcase and fundraising concert called “Eight Track” \n \nSaturday\, April 19th 2025 – 6:30-9:30 pm – “Eight Track” is a Songwriter Showcase Concert featuring local songwriters. \n\nIn the eight weeks leading up to the event\, each of the songwriters (or songwriting teams) will be responsible for writing a new song per week and posting a demo video of themselves performing it to 8 Track’s event page on Facebook (link).  At the end of this eight week period\, the songwriters will pick four of the eight songs they wrote to perform at the showcase. \nAlong the way\, the public will be encouraged to give feedback on all of the songs\, thus helping to shape the show they will see on April 19th. Furthermore\, one fan-suggested prompt will be selected per week for each of the last four weeks to give the writers a little extra inspiration. \nThe line up for “Eight Track” includes William Nesmith\, Tegan and Robert Beverly\, Justin Cohen\, and Tyler Millard (bios coming soon). This list of performers was curated to provide a show that promises to be both diverse in genre\, but specific in intent. That is to say\, each of these writers has at least a hint of a pop mentality in the way that they write\, meaning that their songs are intended to be catchy and approachable. Navigate to (link coming soon) to find a playlist comprised of some of the songwriters’ previous releases. \nTickets to “Eight Track” are available below. \nNote: A portion of ticket and wine sales from “Eight Track” will be donated to the Down syndrome Association of greater Winston-Salem. For more information on the DSA navigate to  (dsagwsorg). \n\n\nTyler Millard strives to write music that is as introspective as the alternative music he grew up listening to in the 90’s and as commercially appealing as the blues rock that became popular as he was learning to play guitar in the early 2000’s. And though his music can be quite serious at times\,  Millard has developed a reputation for putting on shows that are upbeat and fun. \n  \n  \n William Nesmith –  Since 2018\, Nesmith has played hundreds of shows with popular covers and fun original tunes (while wearing party sunglasses).  From inspiring ballads to bubbly bops\, he uses his unique vocal range to paint a spectrum of emotions. \n  \n  \n \nTegan and Robert Beverly  (Barefoot Modern) \nBarefoot Modern traces its roots back to Oak Ridge\, NC\, where Robert and Tegan Beverly (now married) began making music together in sixth grade. Since then\, they’ve evolved into a distinctive force in the indie scene\, releasing two full-length albums\, one EP\, and a series of singles that showcase their evolving sound and artistic vision. \nJustin Cohen \n \nJustin Cohen is a singer/songwriter/producer who was born in California and has bounced back and forth from coast to coast 3 times and currently hails from North Carolina. He has had the honor of being part of records with Jelly Roll\, Merkules\, Bizzy Bone\, from bone Thugs-n-Harmony and many more. \nOnline tickets for this concert will be available until 3PM the day of the concert\, tickets sold at the gate thereafter. \nAdvance Ticket Purchase is Recommended: You will not receive physical tickets. Your name will be placed on a Pre-Paid Will-Call list at the Entrance Table; please have your ID available in case we need to confirm your ticket purchase.
