CANCELLED Bluegrass Potluck Dinner and Jam – “Camp & Pick” (Soup & Sing + Camping!)

Taking our Soup & Sing to the next level, Stonefield Cellars is hosting the High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association’s Spring Camp & Pick Event.  This event will be held rain or shine (we won’t have a fire going if it is raining though).  Here’s all the details…

Saturday & Sunday, April 18-19, 2020

Let’s JAM, JAM, JAM!!!!

Saturday: Pot Luck Dinner at 6:30 pm 

Plates and utensils will be provided; you provide a main dish, side dish or dessert and your drink.

Beverages will be available for purchase.

Note:  There will not be a band performance Saturday night.  This is a JAM focused event!

Jams will be held inside and outside (until 10pm, must move inside after that).

 

Weather permitting, fire pit seating on the patio will accommodate s’mores.

 

 

Camping Option:  Limited RV camping available (2 spots w/ power, water, a few more spaces with no power/water, no dumping on property), but plenty of room for tent camping!  All overnight guests must preregister (call Natalie @ 336-689-4071).

Campers are encouraged to join in a potluck breakfast and Gospel Jam Sunday morning.

Even if you don’t plan to stay overnight, please RSVP if you plan to attend Saturday night – 336-644-9908 or nwurz@stonefieldcellars.com (if overnighting, please call /email Natalie directly to register – 336- 689-4071)

 

NO outside alcohol permitted, smoking restricted to designated area, please leave dogs at home (or in your camper).

Special Bluegrass Jam w/ Zink and Company Band

Stonefield Cellars hosts will be hosting a SPECIAL Bluegrass Jam on Tuesday, February 18th,  7:00pm

Zink and Company, a bluegrass band that is touring through the southeast will be passing through our area on Tuesday, February 18th.   The band will be back in March for a Bluegrass Band workshop and Concert (March 29th), and this will be a great opportunity to get a preview of their music, meet the band members, and jam with them!

There is no fee for this event – bring your instrument and plan on having a good time!  Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale during the session.

High Lonesome Strings Monthly Meeting (FREE Bluegrass Concert and Jam)

Band:  Paula Dellenback and Fox River will perform between 2:30 and 3:30 pm, followed by a bluegrass jam with local musicians.   This is event is FREE to the public!
