About Brandon Lee Adams:  

Brandon Lee Adams is a stellar musician and Emmy-winning TV host, “The Life of A Musician”.  Brandon plays and promotes Americana, Bluegrass, and Folk genres.    Recording with iconic artists like Tony Rice, Carl Jackson, Scott Vestal, and more icons of traditional music,  along with appearing on two Grammy nominated albums and one IBMA award winning album “Celebration of Life”, Brandon has laid a solid foundation for a long career.

Always looking to bring music that is “From a real place inside of me” lyrics and melody are always at the root of every note, and Brandon sees himself more as a story teller who happens to play an instrument.

Barrel Room Concert Etiquette Reminder:  This concert is held in our intimate barrel room and is intended to be a listening experience.  Audience is expected to be respectful of the artist’s performance and their listening neighbors, so loud talking and cell phone use is discouraged during quiet songs, but Dancing, Clapping, etc. is welcomed during upbeat songs (take your cue from the band and those around you!).

Venue Policies:  No outside alcohol, no pets, NO Smoking property.

Peg Parham, Producer of The ‘Boro Sessions will be bringing dazzling Celtic guitar genius Tony McManus to the Stonefield Cellars Winery Barrel Room for an intimate concert and setting that can’t be beat.  We are thrilled to add Tony to the list of guitar masters that have graced our Barrel Room stage.

Scottish born Tony McManus is considered the best Celtic guitarist in the world today by the late acclaimed guitarist, John Renbourn of Pentangle fame. Tony was named to Guitar Player Magazine’s top 50 transcendental guitarists in the world. His skill at translating Celtic pipe and fiddle tunes to guitar is unmatched, creating a great accompaniment for his vocals. Tony has performed at many prestigious festivals and concert venues, including several times at the Chet Atkins festival in Nashville, and the Ellnora Guitar Festival in one of Illinois’s most prestigious venues, the Krannert center, with the likes of Pat Metheny, Kaki King, Molly Tuttle, and Steve Dawson. He is increasingly being acknowledged as a pioneering figure in bridging the realms of Celtic music and other guitar genres.

Muriel Anderson is a guitarist, harp-guitarist and composer who embraces music from all over the world with grace, joy and humor.

Muriel is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. Her CD, “Nightlight Daylight”, was chosen as one of the top 10 CDs of the decade by Guitar Player Magazine, and her “Heartstrings” recording accompanied the astronauts on the space shuttle. Among those she has performed/recorded with are Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Victor Wooten, Tommy Emmanuel and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. Muriel’s facility across the genres of folk, classical, bluegrass, popular and international music is revered by guitarists worldwide.

 

Muriel’s multimedia show takes you on a journey in music and stories, with a backdrop of stunning visuals artfully projected behind her. It is a musical journey through space and around the world with visuals by celebrated photo-artist Bryan Allen.

Advance Ticket Purchase is always recommended:  You will not receive physical tickets: Your name will be placed on a Pre-Paid Will-Call list at the Entrance Table; please have your ID available in case we need to confirm your ticket purchase. If you have any questions regarding tickets you can reach us over the phone at 336-644-9908 during regular business hours (12-6pm Thurs-Sat & 1-6pm Sun).

COST: $10 per person.

EVENT TIMELINE:   Concert is from 7-9 pm. The Food Truck will be ready to serve by 6:30 pm. Guests may arrive at any time prior to the concert. Prior to 6:30 pm please proceed to our Tasting Room to purchase your ticket or get your prepaid wristband. After 6:30 pm, at-the-gate sales and Will Call check-in will be at our Entrance Table.

INSIDE OR OUT?: This concert will be held OUTSIDE in our lovely garden. Due to the need to maintain safe distancing, we will not be able to move concerts inside in the event of rain.  Dress for the weather.  

SEATING:

  • 4-person Front Row VIP Bistro Seating for $45 (includes admission for four)
  • 6-person Front Row VIP Glass-Top Table Seating for $65 (includes admission for six)
  • 4-person Pavilion VIP Bistro Seating for $45 (includes admission for four)
  • General Admission ($10/person): Bring a lawn chair for our terraced lawn area, or we have first-come-first-seat picnic tables in the upper garden.
  • Party Lawn Admission ($10/person): Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. This area does not have a direct view of the band! Best for guests who want plenty of room to socialize, drink and dance. Party Lawn attendees can still hear the music loudly and the lawn has easy access to our Tasting Room & Food Truck. (Picnic blankets available in Tasting Room.)

DRINKS:   Wine, Fresh Sangria, Beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

FOOD:  Big Cheese Food Truck will be our food truck for the evening.
