Friday Flavors Concert – James Vincent Carroll

Friday Flavors Concert – James Vincent Carroll

James Vincent Carroll is a one-man acoustic classic rock show.  Whether performing your favorite covers or his own originals, James Vincent Carroll fills the stage with his presence, his powerful vocals, and stellar musicianship.  If you never have seen him before, you are in for a treat!

Note: Advanced ticket purchase is always recommended because  1) It helps our food vendor anticipate food amounts and 2) If the concert is held indoors, seating is limited – we’d hate to turn you away at the door. All tickets purchased in advanced are held at Will Call under the name of the purchaser.   Advanced Ticket Purchase May Be Made Over the Phone (336-644-9908), General Admission & VIP Tables Still Available! If you have any additional questions regarding ticket sales please call 336-644-9908.

Emily Stewart plays original tunes rooted in the folk, country, and blues traditions of the deep south. She first discovered her voice while perched in a south Alabama church pew as a child, and her vocal stylings are those of a true southern siren. Her roots as a writer reach back to her hometown well, Alabama’s literary capital, where she was raised in the belly of a family newspaper and commissioned as a columnist before even growing tall enough to reach the employee time clock. With lyrics and melodies that channel the strength of Odetta, the delicate twang of Kitty Wells, and the forthright softness of Loretta Lynn, Emily finds a song in every story. She also currently performs in the indie folk duet Magpie Thief and as a supporting guitarist and vocalist in Lightweight.
