Valentine’s Dinner and Concert

(See more info about this below)  Please purchase tickets now!  This is our annual Valentine’s Dinner and Concert at Stonefield Cellars on Thursday, 2/14/19! This is an intimate, 4 course catered dinner (plated, served at your table) paired with Stonefield Cellars’ wine and a concert by the fabulous Chris and Bonnie Reed. Dinner is served in our Barrel Room, therefore seating is determined by time-of-purchase. If you would like preferred seating please purchase your tickets early. Additionally, if you are attending the event with a group and purchasing tickets separately, please include a note in your online ticket order or let our staff know when purchasing over the phone. Caterer is Pepper Moon Catering.  

Dinner Menu:  

First Course

  • Passed Appetizer: Chicken Walnut Salad Canape

Second Course

  • Apple Harvest Salad w/artisan greens, thinly-sliced granny smith apples, dried apricots, feta cheese crumbles, pistachio nuts in a roasted cinnamon honey vinaigrette

Third Course

  • Sirloin Tips with Mushrooms and Pearl Onions
  • Potatoes Au Gratin
  • Grilled Asparagus
  • Yeast Rolls w/Butter

Fourth Course

  • Choice of Dessert (Guests choose one – please specify when purchasing tickets):  Chocolate Truffle Torte or Lemon Cheesecake

 

Wines:  A different Stonefield Cellars wine will be paired with each course.

*The Proposed Wine Pairing is chosen by the Winemaker for the best wine & food combination and is a half-glass of wine with each course. If preferred, you may substitute the pairing with either your choice of a standard bottle of wine (per 2 guests), or two glasses of wine per person. Additional wine is always available for purchase by the bottle or by the glass.

Our Vineyard, Winery and Tasting Room is conveniently located just north of Greensboro in the small town of Stokesdale, where we offer award winning wines and exceptional customer service! 

Welcome!   Before your in-person visit, please make note of our policies and procedures explained below.

Regular Hours: Our Tasting Room is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Noon – 6pm, and Sunday 1-6pm. Our last wine tasting starts at 5:00pm. If you are coming with a group consisting of more than 6 people, please call ahead to determine whether and how we can accommodate you (336-644-9908).  

Wine Tastings/Wine by the Glass or Bottle, Seating Options

· We offer Wine Tasting Flights for individuals or groups no more than 6 to be enjoyed at our indoor tables (reservation recommended; Barrel Room limited to 2 hours, Tasting Room limited to 1 hr), outdoor bistro tables that seat 4 under our Gazebo or Pavilion(reservation recommended if rainy weather, limited to 2-hour occupancy), or on our outdoor patio & beautiful upper garden various patio and picnic tables (each picnic table seats up to six).  No reservations are required but are recommended during busy times (mid-afternoon on Saturdays and  Sundays). Our last wine tasting starts at 5:00pm, and we close at 6:00pm. We also have heaters for some tables – please request upon your arrival on chilly days.  On RAINY  days, we highly recommend making a reservation, as indoors and covered seating outdoors is limited. SPECIAL EVENTS –  Year-round we offer special events such as Concerts or other live music events (outdoors during warm months, in our Barrel Room during cooler months), food trucks, Book Club meetings, Girls Night Out, and special holiday related events.  Check our our Events Page and subscribe to our monthly emails so you won’t miss out on all the fun!

           

·  If you are coming with a group consisting of  more than 6 people, please call ahead to determine whether and how we can accommodate you (336-644-9908).   Note: More than 6 sometimes means a ‘private party’…give us a call to discuss your needs or check out our rental options detailed on our  Private Parties Page.  

Property Polices: To ensure the best experience for all of our guests we do not allow smoking or dogs on our property, and we ask that patrons do not wear perfume for visits to our tasting room.

Health and Safety Policies:  Please consider not visiting or be willing to wear a mask indoors if you have an illness or symptoms of a communicable disease, e.g., Covid19, Flu, etc. that could put others at risk.

Inclement Weather Policy:   We rarely close due to inclement weather, but if we do, we will post it here and on Facebook.  We want you to be safe, so please use good judgement whenever you consider traveling during inclement weather.  You are always welcomed to call us to inquire on the status of conditions in our specific location, Stokesdale, NC.
