Patrick Rock –

Songwriter extraordinaire Patrick Rock has been writing, recording and performing for over 25 years, often taking on close to 250 shows every twelve months – a level of experience and passion that shines with stunning brightness throughout his music.

Patrick’s genuine approach to songwriting means that from his earliest EP release in 1997 – ‘All The Letters I Never Wrote’ – right through to his upcoming fifth studio album ‘With A Full Heart’, his songs connect on a profound and beautiful level. Confidence and vulnerability intertwine, offering a truly captivating listening experience, both on the records and indeed throughout his live shows.

Patrick’s warming and soulful pop-rock sound brings audiences a crisp and satisfying musicality. With ever-passionate vocals and consistently impressive, poetic songwriting, his music feels all at once pleasantly nostalgic, and refreshingly new.

Mamma Molasses –

Currently based in Bristol, VA/TN and originally from the Pines of North Carolina, (just south of the Piedmont in Carthage, NC) Momma Molasses’ music is soul stirringly resonate, and smothered in good old fashioned folk sentiment; blending Americana, Old-Time, Alt-Country, Piedmont Blues, Swing, Appalachian, and Bluegrass music into a uniquely timeless sound. Harnessing her rolling contralto voice which scales over homespun finger-picked guitar, her sound is warm, rich, and passionate, with songs that embrace, and captivate listeners.

Kim Lane –

Kim Lane is a mother, marathoner, gifted education specialist, and performance poet with four books to her credit. As a songwriter, her work lives at the edge of wit and heartbreak, conveyed by a uniquely earthy, rich voice and vintage mahogany guitar. She sings to connect—to share in the ebbs, the flows, the I-don’t-knows. It is always an honor to be welcomed to any stage.

John Stevens –

John Stevens aka “Sentimental Johnny”  is a singer/songwriter from Hillsborough, NC. His musical roots grow from timeless troubadours like Townes VanZandt, John Prine, and Todd Snider. His sharp lyrics, smooth baritone, and spare guitar picking come together to pull listeners in close, enchanting and entertaining them with his songs from the heart.

Crystal Bright

Award winning singer/songwriter, ethnomusicologist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, Crystal Bright, has played over 1000 shows from Canada to San Diego, Florida to Seattle since 2010. Bright performed with the North Carolina Symphony in 2011 on an arrangement of her song “Toy Hammer,” and has performed at various festivals around the country (SXSW, Savannah Stopover, FloydFest, DragonCon, Midpoint Music Fest, The Steampunk World’s Fair, Shakori Hills, and many others.) She took Runner Up for On the Rise at Floydfest 2013 for a return set in 2014, and was named Best Singer in 2012, Best Songwriter in 2014, and Best Musician in the Triad in 2015 by Greensboro’s Yes Weekly.

Bright has an eclectic, haunting but yet whimsical, carnivalesque world folk sound, dubbed “kaleidophrenic cabaret.” She plays accordion, musical saw, concertina, piano, Taiko drum, adungu (Ugandan harp), and various others, leaving people captivated with her operatic & soulful vocals and virtuoso command of her exotic instruments.
Her most recent album was recorded with Mitch Easter at the Fidelitorium. It was released in November, 2017. The previous albums (a visual collaboration with DividingMe Photography, “The Absolute Elsewhere” (Jan. 2015) as well as “Muses and Bones” (2012)) received press and glowing reviews in the US & Europe, as well as radio airplay in the US, UK, & Canada, including NPR and BBC appearances.

Glenn Jones

Songs from the heart, delivered with passion.  Glenn is a Chapel Hill, NC-based singer, songwriter, electric bassist, and guitarist.  His distinctive belting, soulful voice is his trademark, but his songcraft, with hook-laden choruses and out-of-the box subject matter, along with great storytelling, is what is building his following.  Two US tours in the last three years have whetted Glenn’s appetite for touring.

Currently working on CD three with acclaimed producer/engineer Jerry Brown (working title “Ready for the Good Times”), the new material promises to have a more stripped-down, back-to-the-basics, true-to-live sound than prior offerings. A September 2019 release is planned.

Glenn’s motto –  “Music is life”, and he’s playing every note to the fullest.

Kristy Jackson

BMI award winning singer/songwriter, Kristy Jackson, has had singles with artists on Giant, MCA, Curb and Universal Records.  As an artist herself, she had the #1 most requested song on the largest radio stations in New York and other major markets after 9/11, “Little Did She Know (She’d Kissed A Hero)” and raised over $30,000 for 9/11 charities. Her songs have also been featured in films by Disney, Universal and Endemol Productions. Her song, “Take It Back” originally recorded by Reba McEntire was recently performed by contest Aliyah Moulden in the 2017 Season 12 of NBC’s The Voice.

Ranford Almond

Ranford Almond is a Greensboro singer/songwriter who combines his introspective lyrics with acoustic blues and cross-picking to create a unique, soulful sound. Ranford is known as an old-soul whose solo performance is a truly intimate experience

Paula Dellenback

Paula Dellenback is an award winning singer-songwriter born in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia.  Her style of storytelling through song, brings visuals of the region’s history, love, trials and life. Her second original song, “Jar Gap”, won WPAQ’s Ralph Epperson Award for Excellence.  The Paula Dellenback & Fox River band was soon formed and her musical adventures began. Paula has appeared in numerous festivals and venues including Song of the Mountains, IBMA After Hours Showcase, Reeves Theater, Heartwood, Blackmon Amphitheater, and many more.

Jim Ritchey

Jim Ritchey grew up in Texas and learned his craft as a songwriter and performer in the famous music scenes of Dallas and Austin.  In 1976 Rusty Wier recorded his song “Coast of Colorado” and launched Jim’s career as a professional songwriter.  In the years that have followed, his songs have been recorded and performed by numerous artists, including Kenny Rogers (The Gambler album), BeJae Fleming, Mickey Jones, Kelley Hunt, and Ann Rabson, and played on radio stations around the world. Currently, Jim resides in Greensboro, North Carolina and continues to write carefully crafted songs and teach songwriting and guitar at weekend workshops.

Diane Rodelli

Diane started playing guitar at 12, after consuming Joni Mitchell’s first two albums and being smitten with her songs and open tunings.  At 17, she got exposed to Delta and Chicago Blues styles from friends in Brooklyn, and started singing with The Unknown Maracas’ Blue Bland – a seven piece ensemble that included standup bass, acoustic piano, and blues harmonica for a few years, until university and graduate school took over her life.  She took a long hiatus from music making while raising a family and working, but came back to it in her late 30’s with a vengeance, learning more country blues styles.   For the last 20 years she has been playing – hosting the Open Mic sessions at Hillsborough’s Blue Bayou in the early 00’s, and then co-creating Pagan Hellcats, with Dave Rutter in 2006, a band that prides itself in playing almost exclusively original material in the Triangle and Triad area.

Dave Rutter

Dave grew up the youngest in a musical family in Chicago– his father played the American songbook every evening for hours, and two brothers also played- one jump blues and the other classical.  He started playing harmonica as a child, having been left a chromatic harp from his grandfather, and embraced Rock n’ Roll as a departure from the music he grew up hearing.  He started playing guitar in his 20’s and within a decade created The Attitudes, a new-wave/alternative band in the late 80’s and 90’s that enjoyed some notoriety in the Triangle.  He has been writing and performing his own songs for the last 35 years.  He has been lead singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist and harmonica player for the Pagan Hellcats since 2006.  The Hellcats play regularly in venues across the Triangle.
