Come enjoy some wine & live music by the best of our local songwriting talent! Kris Ferris will be your host and sound engineer for this performance melange, with FOUR singer/songwriters performing his or her songs in the round. They will also take you behind the scenes and learn what inspires their compositions, the stories behind the songs and the process of song writing through each songwriter’s eyes and experience. It is an interactive event and audience participation is encouraged (but please be respectful and don’t converse with your neighbor while the artists are speaking or singing).
Also note: If this is your first time visiting and you would like to do a tasting before the event, we suggest you come at least 30-45 minutes before to allow for a relaxed tasting experience. Tastings are conducted in our Tasting Room. You will be served there and when the door opens for the Songwriter Performance, you will then be seated in the Barrel Room. Tasting Fee is $10.00 for 7 wines and a signature wine glass.

Patrick Rock –
Songwriter extraordinaire Patrick Rock has been writing, recording and performing for over 25 years, often taking on close to 250 shows every twelve months – a level of experience and passion that shines with stunning brightness throughout his music.
Patrick’s genuine approach to songwriting means that from his earliest EP release in 1997 – ‘All The Letters I Never Wrote’ – right through to his upcoming fifth studio album ‘With A Full Heart’, his songs connect on a profound and beautiful level. Confidence and vulnerability intertwine, offering a truly captivating listening experience, both on the records and indeed throughout his live shows.
Patrick’s warming and soulful pop-rock sound brings audiences a crisp and satisfying musicality. With ever-passionate vocals and consistently impressive, poetic songwriting, his music feels all at once pleasantly nostalgic, and refreshingly new.
Mamma Molasses –
Currently based in Bristol, VA/TN and originally from the Pines of North Carolina, (just south of the Piedmont in Carthage, NC) Momma Molasses’ music is soul stirringly resonate, and smothered in good old fashioned folk sentiment; blending Americana, Old-Time, Alt-Country, Piedmont Blues, Swing, Appalachian, and Bluegrass music into a uniquely timeless sound. Harnessing her rolling contralto voice which scales over homespun finger-picked guitar, her sound is warm, rich, and passionate, with songs that embrace, and captivate listeners.
Kim Lane –

Kim Lane is a mother, marathoner, gifted education specialist, and performance poet with four books to her credit. As a songwriter, her work lives at the edge of wit and heartbreak, conveyed by a uniquely earthy, rich voice and vintage mahogany guitar. She sings to connect—to share in the ebbs, the flows, the I-don’t-knows. It is always an honor to be welcomed to any stage.
John Stevens –

John Stevens aka “Sentimental Johnny” is a singer/songwriter from Hillsborough, NC. His musical roots grow from timeless troubadours like Townes VanZandt, John Prine, and Todd Snider. His sharp lyrics, smooth baritone, and spare guitar picking come together to pull listeners in close, enchanting and entertaining them with his songs from the heart.








Paula Dellenback is an award winning singer-songwriter born in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia. Her style of storytelling through song, brings visuals of the region’s history, love, trials and life. Her second original song, “Jar Gap”, won WPAQ’s Ralph Epperson Award for Excellence. The Paula Dellenback & Fox River band was soon formed and her musical adventures began. Paula has appeared in numerous festivals and venues including Song of the Mountains, IBMA After Hours Showcase, Reeves Theater, Heartwood, Blackmon Amphitheater, and many more.
Jim Ritchey grew up in Texas and learned his craft as a songwriter and performer in the famous music scenes of Dallas and Austin. In 1976 Rusty Wier recorded his song “Coast of Colorado” and launched Jim’s career as a professional songwriter. In the years that have followed, his songs have been recorded and performed by numerous artists, including Kenny Rogers (The Gambler album), BeJae Fleming, Mickey Jones, Kelley Hunt, and Ann Rabson, and played on radio stations around the world. Currently, Jim resides in Greensboro, North Carolina and continues to write carefully crafted songs and teach songwriting and guitar at weekend workshops.
